Dr. Joseph Jaswanth Raj Endowment Lecture is organized one by the department of Philosophy and another by the department of Theology every year in hounor of Fr. Joseph Jaswanth Raj, the former rector of our institution and a scholar in Saiva Sidhantha. The first Endowment Lecture of the academic year 2016-2017 was organized by the Department of Philosophy on “Roots and Effects of Anti-Christian Violence” on 2 September 2016. The key note address was delivered by Rev. Dr. James Ponnaiah, Head of the Department of Christian Studies, University of Madras.
